Privacy Policy
Last updated: 7 June 2026
This policy explains what personal data Earlyvo collects, why, how it is used and protected, and the rights you have over it. It is written to comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
1. Who we are
Earlyvo ("Earlyvo", "we", "us", "our") is a service operated by an individual sole trader based in the United Kingdom. For the purposes of UK data protection law, that individual is the data controller responsible for your personal data.
For any privacy question or to exercise your rights, contact us at privacy@earlyvo.com.
2. What data we collect
We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the service:
- Waitlist data — the email address you submit through our waitlist form, plus the date you submitted it.
- Profile data (for users of the product) — details you choose to give us so we can match you to roles, such as your name, degree, target job titles, and preferred locations.
- Usage and technical data — basic, often anonymised, information such as your browser type, device, and approximate region, collected to keep the site secure and working.
We do not intentionally collect special category data (e.g. health, religion, ethnicity). Please do not send it to us.
3. How we use your data and our legal basis
- To operate the waitlist and tell you when Earlyvo is available — legal basis: your consent, which you give by submitting the form. You can withdraw it at any time.
- To provide the matching service — legal basis: performance of a contract with you, or steps taken at your request before entering one.
- To keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and improve it — legal basis: our legitimate interests, balanced against your rights.
- To comply with the law — legal basis: legal obligation.
4. Service providers we share data with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with trusted providers that help us run Earlyvo, and only as far as needed:
- Formspree — processes and stores waitlist form submissions on our behalf.
- Hosting provider — serves this website.
- Email provider — delivers the messages and digests you ask for.
Some providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement) to protect it.
5. How long we keep it
We keep waitlist emails until you ask us to remove them or until Earlyvo no longer operates a waitlist, whichever comes first. Account and profile data is kept while your account is active and deleted within a reasonable period after you close it, unless we must keep it longer by law.
6. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data erased ("right to be forgotten");
- restrict or object to our processing;
- data portability;
- withdraw consent at any time (this does not affect processing already carried out).
To exercise any of these, email privacy@earlyvo.com. We will respond within one month. You can unsubscribe from the waitlist at any time using the link in our emails or by contacting us.
7. Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the UK's supervisory authority, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), at ico.org.uk. We would appreciate the chance to address your concern first.
8. Cookies
Earlyvo's landing page uses only essential cookies and similar technologies needed to make the site work and keep it secure. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If this changes, we will update this policy and ask for consent where required.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above will always reflect the current version, and material changes will be communicated where appropriate.
